Tajine Restaurant was born from a deep love for authentic Moroccan cuisine and a desire to share the rich culinary traditions of North Africa with Ottawa's vibrant dining community. Our journey began with a simple vision to create more than just a restaurant, but a true Moroccan food experience.
We opened our doors in Ottawa's vibrant Byward Market with one mission to bring the warmth, taste, and soul of Moroccan hospitality to the Canadian capital. Every dish on our menu carries a story. From the slow braised lamb tajine that takes hours to coax into tenderness, to the crisp layers of our B'stilla pastilla and the cool, fragrant pour of Moroccan mint tea this is food that asks you to slow down and savour.
